Bio

Témo (short for Cuauhtémoc), immigrated to Canada from Mexico in 2002 as a 10-year old with ambitious dreams to make a positive impact to his new home. After 5 years of architectural and project management post-secondary education from Mohawk & Conestoga College he focused on building his entrepreneurial and city-building career.

Témo's career for city-building integrates his passions for innovative architecture & urban design, affordable housing, prefabricated & modular design, and emerging technologies. With a vision to build equitable smart cities of the future. His mission is to develop housing projects & sustainable solutions to help solve the global problems of our generation: climate change, the affordability housing crisis & the COVID-19 pandemic.

With over 11 years of industry experience, spanning across reputable Canadian-based Architectural, Engineering and Construction / Modular companies.

Témo's environmental and modular passion originated when he founded LeafBox Concepts in 2017. Inspired by his architectural thesis during his time at Conestoga College he decided to startup his first venture. This venture offers rentable event container concepts which are 100% solar-powered, portable, and experiential to the tourism & events industry.

His drive is fueled by his Mexican heritage & immigration journey to Canada. With the purpose to apply creativity, hard work and knowledge of city-building to his new home.

He is currently based in Hamilton, ON Canada.
